Travel Tuesday: Cooperstown | Life Lately

Cooperstown Lighthouse, Lake Otsego, which you may recognize from this trip.

Between work, marathon training, planning my sister's baby shower (which you'll see in a few weeks!) and simply enjoying this summer, blogging has taken a back seat. I'm looking forward to getting back into a routine of consistency with September right around the corner.

This summer, I have been planning a new direction for my blog. While cooking is still my number one, many of the meals we eat are recipes I've already shared on the blog with you because they are tried and true favorites, resulting in no new recipes to share. A few years back, I listed my hobbies- cooking, running, decorating and traveling. Those four words (in the form of a noun) have been on my Instagram bio for as long as I can remember. Here, you'll notice I replaced the existing food pages with those four words that best describe my life and the new direction for Carrie's Creations.

With this change, I hope to provide content that will inspire and be of use to you, whether you're a runner or in the process of planning a party. I also want to share quality content over quantity.

I'm excited for the upcoming posts I have planned and if there is anything specifically you'd like to see on here, please leave a comment below :)
Day trip to Cooperstown, NY

You know I love black and white homes, and the red from the window boxes makes this stunning colonial just pop!
