Homemade Pizza

Homemade pizza is becoming a favorite Friday night staple for my boyfriend and I. It costs about as much as a frozen pizza but tastes SO MUCH BETTER!! We have also gotten creative with our sauce and topping combinations.
Fresh is best.
Happy experimenting!

  • Fresh dough- I get mine from a local pizza parlor
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh garlic
  • Freshly sliced pepperoni- Thinly sliced from the deli is best!
  • Fresh mozzarella
  • Fresh basil
  1. Preheat oven to 475°F. Roll out your dough and set on a pizza stone. Place in the oven for three to four minutes. Remove from oven, leaving oven on. 
  2. Carefully place sauce on pizza- it will be hot! [*This pizza has sautéed garlic with olive oil as the "sauce"]. Add pepperonis and mozzarella. Place back in the oven for another 10-12 minutes, or until dough is golden and cheese is melted.
  3. Remove from oven and add fresh basil. Let it sit for about five minutes before slicing and enjoy! :)
