Oreo Icecream

Oreo Icecream was a family favorite growing up. My mom would make it every year during our beach vacations and as requested for our birthday parties. With only three ingredients, it is so simple to make and doesn't require much prep at all- and everyone loves it!

  • 1 (20 oz.) package Oreos* (single stuffed)
  • 1 stick of butter, melted
  • ½ gallon of vanilla icecream, slightly thawed
  1. Crush entire bag of Oreos (by hand or with a food processor) and divide in half.
  2. Mix half of the crushed Oreos with the melted butter and press into a 9x13" pan.
  3. Place in the freezer to harden slightly.
  4. Slice icecream in half length-wise and place on top of the frozen Oreo crust.
  5. Top with remaining Oreos and freeze until ready to serve. Enjoy!
*For best results, use the Oreo brand, as store brands don't hold up (or taste as good!)
Happy Summer!
