Protein Pancakes


I cooked these after a workout so I could have bulging muscles. I made two but was only able to eat one since it was so filling! The recipe is from Tone It Up!- you can watch the recipe video here.

They are easy to make and all you need is about 5 minutes!

INGREDIENTS
  • ¼ cup egg whites
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tbs unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 scoop of cottage cheese
  • A few taps of cinnamon
  • 1 tbs flaxseed (I used ground flaxseed)
  • ½ a banana, mashed (then set aside- don't combine yet)
  • Handful of fresh berries
  • Agave
DIRECTIONS
  1. After above ingredients are mixed together add ½ banana (mashed)- mash first, then add!
  2. Add a handful of fresh or frozen blueberries (I added frozen blueberries from Trader Joe's).
  3. Pour into a pan that has been sprayed with olive oil cooking spray- Medium heat.
  4. Cook one side until it bubbles. Flip and cook the other size until the middle is done.
  5. Top with fresh berries and agave.
